I created two art pieces framing a nice sized window in my friend Lauren's daughter's new lilac room- On the left I created a colorful stylized Portrait of Lyla. On the right I incorporated the same bright colors adding a beautiful butterfly complimenting the bedroom decor. Both pieces were framed in bright white with white & silver matte. Artwork completed in Photoshop and easily printable in any size. To tie the room together I painted two walls with murals complimenting the new bedding and room decor. Seen in the completed room are the framed artwork above the rocking chair.

I came up with the idea of "morphing" artwork. In this piece I created two options where the wine bottles line up when the panel placements are changed around. Inspired from a friend's autographed bottle by Robert Mondavi's wine maker & son Peter Mondavi.

Inspired by a Donner Lake vacation at my family cabin. Lying on the back porch and staring up into the trees the sky was my focal point. Clarity of nature filled my mind with peace.

Adding a night theme created texture in brush stroke with illuminating stars that touch the tree tops and hide within the branches.

ART PANEL FOR CHARITY

~Wood Burning Technique w/ 3 Stain Finishes~

I explored a new technique on this piece. Using a wood burning tool I mixed organic and straight lines to create a radiating effect from the center. Varying the pressure of the tool on the wood added dimension where desired. Finishing the piece off with different wood stains gave the art the richness and depth it needed for completion.
